Executive Team
Charles Tan, General Manager
Charles has over fourteen years of management experience in manufacturing, operations, global supply chain management, and sales, including nine years in the telecommunication industry and five years in the medical technology industry. He was an executive overseeing the operations of more than $30 million in annual sales in China for a multinational company, and in charge of several international mergers and acquisitions.
As the managing director, Charles helped a U.S. telecom company start up manufacturing, operations and sales in China and further led the company’s expansion into the medical market and analytic instrument business, which later became the number one growth and focus for the company. As the General Manager for a major European mobile component manufacturing company in China, he led the company to grow into the second largest supplier in sales in the global market. Charles was also a key contributor for several successful business start-ups in Shanghai and Suzhou, China. He oversaw the production relocations from the U.S., Denmark, Singapore and Austria to China, and involved in acquisitions in Vienna, Austria.
Charles holds an Executive MBA from China Europe International Business School and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical-Electrical Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
Jack Zhu, Manager for Research & Development
Jack has over twelve years of global experience in engineering and development, including eight years in the semiconductor engineering and four years in the automation technology development. Jack served at Intel for six years as an engineer, supervisor and program manager in Shanghai office. He was responsible for the manufacturing and engineering development of Intel’s Flash business in China and the U.S. He also successfully led the production relocation of the P4 CPU Test from Malaysia to China. Jack also worked as an engineer and supervisor for two years at GPS industry in New Zealand. Jack was a key manager to initiate and run an APEC automation development center in Tianjin for a multinational cooperation. He led a team to develop cutting-edge technologies which improved the company’s production efficiency globally.
Jack holds a Master degree in Manufacturing Automation and Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
Julia Liu, Manager for Supply Chain Management
Julia has over ten years of global experience in quality management and supply chain management, including 8 years in the telecommunication industry and 2 years in mechanical industry. She was a manager for operations and R&D quality for a global manufacturing company. She has extensive sourcing experience for international companies in China, and management experience of supplier quality, process quality and quality control system.
Julia holds an MBA from HongKong University and a Bachelor’s degree from Suzhou Technology University.
